Why Sevenbar?
SevenBar has more than 30 years of experience operating aircraft for hospitals and other air medical transport programs.
Our reputation with the FAA is uncompromised, and SevenBar has years of experience as a Part 135 Air Carrier.
SevenBar uses Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services (CAMTS) standards as the minimum for its pilots and maintenance technicians. The average SevenBar pilot has more than 5,000 hours of total time, and all maintenance technicians are trained to aircraft manufacturers’ guidelines.
Safety and service are priorities that SevenBar values. Our pilots work 12-hour duty days, with four days on-duty followed by four days off-duty. A duty period can never exceed 14 hours, and there is a required 10-hour rest time between duty periods. All pilots are on-duty at the airport base during their duty period, not on-call via pager.
For safety, the pilot-in-command has final decision-making authority on every flight and SevenBar maintains operational control.
To ensure availability of aircraft, SevenBar maintains one or more backup aircraft in its fleet at all times.
SevenBar is a member of numerous trade associations (both aviation and air medical specific) and actively participates on committees and special interest groups.
Most of the programs SevenBar flies for are CAMTS accredited, and we work with clients to help them easily comply with the fixed wing portion of CAMTS accreditation.
We do more than just provide aircraft. Look to us to provide both initial and ongoing training in safety and evacuation procedures for your medical crewmembers, as well as normal preflight safety briefings.
We want to be more than a vendor. Air medical transportation is the cornerstone of what we do. We understand your success is closely linked to our success, and we want to form long-term partnerships with our customers.
