The Newborn Transport Program was formed in New Mexico in 1978 to fly premature infants to UNM Hospital for specialized care. SevenBar reconfigured an executive aircraft to carry an isolette and other necessary medical equipment. This was the beginning of our legacy of air medical flying. We’re proud that our relationship with the New Mexico Newborn Transport Program continues to this day.
A few things have changed since those early days, though. For example, Newborn’s current aircraft is a state-of-the-art King Air E90 which contains everything their doctors and nurse practitioners need to care for at-risk babies in flight.
